What geography do you service?
Trusted Fleet & Vehicle Services transports vehicles to and from anywhere in Canada, including all 10 provinces and 3 territories. Because we’re a GTA-based company, most of our deliveries start or end in southern Ontario; however, we’re happy to continue making the 4,000+ km trip to British Columbia or 2,000+ km trips to the Maritimes to ensure that our clients’ needs are met. Do you only offer driveaway services?
Yes, Trusted Fleet & Vehicle Services exclusively offers driveaway services; that is, we use professional drivers to relocate personal or commercial vehicles under their own power to transport it from one location to another. Driveaway services are a popular, cost-effective alternative to traditional auto shipping by carrier or train, offering true door-to-door pickup and drop-off.
What types of vehicle are you capable of transporting?
Trusted Fleet & Vehicle Services can transport most vehicles requiring a standard driver’s license to operate—cars, light trucks, work trucks, SUVs, or mini vans (electric vehicles included).
Can I transport belongings with my vehicle?
Yes, your personal belongings can be placed in both the backseat and trunk, as long as the two front seats remain empty. Moreover, belongings can not obstruct visibility out of windows and must allow for clear views out of all the vehicle's mirrors, allowing for safe and secure navigation.
What is the service process?
Once you have agreed to a pickup date, we will have you send over a copy of the vehicle ownership and the driver’s license of the registered owner. Upon arrival for pickup, our driver will perform a visible vehicle inspection (or circle check) to verify its condition and identify any defects before driving. The vehicle is expected to be in good working order, including properly inflated tires and working windshield wipers. If the vehicle is expected to go on a long journey, please ensure proper maintenance is done prior to pickup. For peace of mind and transparency, the driver will share tracking information with you prior to departure. For delivery, the driver will drop off the vehicle and the keys at the agreed-upon drop-off location (to be communicated in advance of pickup). Our driver will message you when the vehicle is dropped off.
How does the insurance work?
The vast majority of Canadian auto insurance policies include permissive use coverage, meaning that YOUR personal auto policy is covering the commercial entity responsible for relocating your vehicle. Sadly, the lack of dedicated commercial coverage on the part of these driveaway companies leaves you potentially exposed in the event of an accident, creating critical gaps in liability limits and resulting in an increase in rejected claims. In contrast, Trusted Fleet & Vehicle Services carries industry-leading commercial coverage. By using Trusted Fleet & Vehicle Services, you can rest easy knowing that our drivers and your vehicle are fully insured from pickup to delivery. Our insurance covers vehicles and drivers in all provinces in Canada, so no matter where your vehicle is being transported to and from, we’ve got you covered.
What payment methods do you accept?
At present, Trusted Fleet & Vehicle Services accepts e-transfer as a primary source of payment.
What is your cancellation / refund policy?
At Trusted Fleet & Vehicle Services, we understand that situations may arise when you need to cancel or reschedule your reservation. As such, we allow clients to cancel a reservation at any time for any reason before their vehicle is in our possession. If cancelled within 72 hours of vehicle pickup, you will receive a full refund of your deposit. If cancelled less than 72 hours before pickup, XX% of the total amount will be due. In all scenarios, deposits are retained to cover costs associated with the reservation.
